Painting bruises on Orc flesh?

Anyone got any hints and tips for painting bruises on Orc\'s?

I\'ll post a pic of what I am working on tonight but my flesh is predominantly Catachan green lightened though steps up to desert yellow. Shaded with GW green and purple washes.

Any advice or tips?

feck knows. depends on what colour you assume the orks blood is. some i have seen painted green, some red. maybe try a bluish/black tinged area?

Well lets assume red, just cause\' green blood looks crap on green skin. How about just doing them the same as reg bruising, with a thinned wash over top of the flesh tone?

I think a dark brown, or preferably a dark blue/purple would be best. It\'s a tossup though, Orc blood is rarely ever consistent, even within GW imagery it\'s been red or green/black at times.

I think I\'ll give the dark purple tech a try. I\'ll post pics once it\'s up and running.
