Seriously......I dont know about you lot but I specifically chose what I but so it will make painting easier.Not really one eyed minis,,,,but say Rackham for instance...I find all that filligree a pain in the but and boring so I dont tend to get the stuff.
Anyway Anders perfect eye,very clean and neat.I have to say though that is one manly looking face

@Gothicwolf........Hi ....fantasic to see this thread has promted you to get invilved in the forums.
Your original figure looks good in places but rough in others.The skin on the first one looks pretty good apart from the belly area which only looks to have 1 highlight transition.The eye in view looks very neat and clean,a good clue you have enough brush control to do well.
The new one has a good basecoat and the eye looks pretty good from the close up,which isnt very good
One tip though on the and this is for everyone.With experience you will find you can do eyes without much touching up but heres a tip using Gothicwolf\'s witch.
When you do the whites it is not important to get the eyeball perfect.When you have done the white,use your basecoat to reshape the whites to the correct size and to match up the shape and size of both eyes.
Im at the point myself where I can do this using the eyeliner but using basecoat means you can leave the eyeliner off all together if you are not comfortable with it.
Heres a quick pic of what I would do with Gothicwolf\'s.
As you can see it shapes the eye better and cuts down on the goggle eye look

@Becca....yes I will do lips.Not that its a big thing but yes
I do them after the skin is finished becuase by then I have decided hair colour and skin tone and do the lips to suit.
@Anatora.......much smoother.It will make a difference believe me.
Next steps tonight......I think things are going well and it seems to be working with people catching up and stuff.
I will post all the steps to finishing the skin,becuase you dont really want gaps between layers do you.
That would be boring.
After that,,,,,lips,nipples,fingernails,hair(yes that involves the ladygarden)
That will be it.I will post a pic of the finished figure on the base and have a Q+A session.
I will compile everything into an article for here and the Forum of Doom and my site of course.Im doing the Akanke figure too at the moment with black skin,which will turn into an article at some time.Lots of gold nmm on that one hopefully.
And then a bloody long rest.
