Hello!

I\'ve been thinking about this for a while, and decided to just do it!
I\'m running a painting comp through my site. There are prizes in the form of full sets of the stuff I make as an incentive! Full rules can be found here:

PAINTATHON!

Simply email your mini photos to me through the site. I\'ll display all entries, provide links to home pages and any other info you care to provide me with!
Closing date is 30th November 2004. Hope some of you take up the challenge!

I just might, if I can finish something in time. I was planning on participating in the CMON competition as well so I don\'t know. I\'m a dredfully slow painter and have a horrible lack of discipline.

A question: when you say standard bases, do you mean any of the mentioned bases or the particular base that is standard for a particular mini?

Great initiative! I could really use a complete stock of your stuff. BTW, your new bases look great! I think I need a couple of paved ones for a group of Rackham Pretorian guards I\'m about to paint.

Errrrm.... It seems to work OK??!!! Anders managed to get onto it, i\'m having no probs. I updated a couple of pages a few minutes ago, and it may have been while I was doing that.....:D

If my previous experience is anything to go by...you will be tossing a coin to decide the winner. I didn\'t even have to do that!!!

I don\'t know if I can participate yet, but I read your page. You kind of make it sound like there\'s only CMON in the mini world :
Miniatures should NOT have previously been submitted to CMON - We want to see new stuff!!

So what, you mean if it\'s not posted on CMON nobody has seen it ? There are plenty of mailing lits and Yahoo groups out there...

What\'s the handle for ? And what if they have a handle on their Yahoo group but don\'t post on CMON ?

Minor points, but they could discourage people who don\'t belong to CMON (yet ! lol ) - and this site is considered \"elitist\" enough. ;)

Oh, by the way Scott, I\'m planning on placing a one-hundred pound order with you, coincidentally right around judging time. ;)

If you wanted to be really clear you could change it (instead of removing it) to something like.. We want to see new work that has not been submitted to any list, site, auction, contest or that has been otherwise displayed before entry into this contest.

Yes!

So there should be a set of Cavalry bases included in the prize!! How good is that! :)

Unless Mr Monkey thinks they are poo???
