Painting Competitions

Euro Militaire...Same weekend as Golden Deamon.
All the Regional GW Conflicts have Painting competitions.
But there are many smaller shows going around and they will have painting competitions. Wargames Illustrated will probably be one of the best ways to find out as will the Modelling Magazines for Historical figures & tanks.
Not all the competitions will cater for the Fantasy market however. We are after all seen as a \"Fringe Element\" of real wargaming.
Oh and http://www.ainsty.co.uk quite often have a list of shows going on which they will be attending.

I\'m a bit of a fan of historical minis as well as the fantasy ones, but haven\'t gone too far into painting them yet ..
The info is for a friend who is going to venture into the competitions shortly, as for me well we will see.

a new guy im work with at the moment runs solely on historical stuff ill ask him next time i see him what comps theres is he knows of
