Painting for ca$h....

It can be very stressful. I did it for about 3 years. You get burnout. No matter how enthusiastic you are, burnout comes. It\'s hard to keep up , especialy with something that requires so much time , detailing and imagination.

It\'s good however to supplement a job. Work, and come home and paint casual. Sell on Ebay. Take small orders for characters and such. Try avoid big lots, they really hurt the patience. Try stick to the newest releases so you can sell better. Alot of people buy to have it first, and a paintjob to boot always spurs people to buy. Paint in color schemes that people can use in their armies. To wild and it just may not sell as well as a basic , well painted scheme.

All I can say is pace yourself and remember, you\'re the one with the paintbrush . Don\'t ever sell your time short, or you\'ll regret it deeply.

Yeah basically I\'m not looking for this as a career but I really love my painting!

I used to play basketball and go to the gym loads but I wrecked my knee in a game and have never been allowed to play since.

Painting is my new focus and I basically am finding myself painting 6 hours a day, working 8 and I find myself just painting random models now so I want to devote that time to something a bit more constructive such as making money!:)
