Painting Glasses

Hey folks, long time lurker here, but I'm after some advice on painting glasses on a model.

The problem is a big one on this particular model as the eyes are so big. The issue is that I can't really paint the eyeballs as seen through the glass, becuase if seen from any angle other than straight on it'll just look totally wierd. Also I don't want to paint them as sunglasses as it doesn't fit the model.

So question is, how to paint them as being normal glass lensed spectacles?

basecoat mix of ice blue and white, then some shades with blue or blue gray and then highlights with white. this will look like regular glasses, i would pic an area that is more shades and one that has the white points. you dont want it to be as intense as a gem, but you want some nice contrast.i would try that out, and if it doesnt work then try somthing else. thats what i would do.

You could always make them coke bottle like, and just fill up the entire lens with eye color.

Cheers Crazy, I'll give that a test on a spare model first.

@ Pegazus I originally thought to do this but just think it will look really wierd with the fact that the eyeballs are so big.
