Painting Horses Article Series - Need your help please!

The past few days I've really wanted to get this series moving again and hopefully completed soon. So I've been working away. But I also want to have something nice and professional looking - and to be completely honest - the article feature on CMON and I just don't get along. It's clunky and uncooperative and the help files are lacking. So I decided to try out a little app feature on my website that allows visitors to download documents.

I created the next article in the series as a PDF document and uploaded it to my website where you guys can download it and if you want print it out to keep by your painting area. In the event full size pages are something you don't have space for, I also made little quick reference "cards" that you can cut out. When I was painting horses all the time, I had an index card system going that I found helpful and it didn't take up a lot of room. So you can cut these out and tape or glue them to an index card and develop your own system.

I was hoping you guys might test out the app for me and make sure folks can download it without a problem. You never know exactly how these little apps will react until you get people to test them. This article is only a couple of pages so I figured it would make a good test. I'm almost done with Article 4 which is much longer. So if 3 works without a problem, I can put 4 up.

That will at least give folks access to the articles and then I can go slug it out with CMON's article behemoth. ;)

You can find the article here:

Painting Horses 3 Article - PDF Download

If you could check it out and let me know if it worked for ya, if you like or dislike this option, or anything else that comes to mind, I would really appreciate it!

Looking forward to the next one :)

I'll try to have a proper look over this later and give any other feedback. But from a first look, two things immediately leapt out: typos, page one line one! And turn off hyphenation since the text is ragged-right; when you're not setting justified hyphens are unnecessary and intrusive.

works fine for me, and as usual for your articles, is very informative and helpful. Only minor issue I noticed (after a quick read through) was that the word "managed" on the first line seems to have grown a full stop between the a and the n. Those rascally full stops - you never know where theyre going to get themselves...

ETA: Fixed and re-uploaded. Let me know if you find anything else! Thank you so very much!

lol! Yup, that's part of it. If anyone has a significant amount of cavalry, they'll be able to get through it without two horses looking exactly alike.

And I put the second article up. I ended up splitting the Dilutions I'm still working on Dun! But Palomino, Cremello, Buckskin and Perlino are up there!
