I believe you have mentioned how to paint the ogres skin you did for the tsunami fund but I cant seem to find the recipe anywhere.
Well for the ogres skin jakob used the following method:
For the skin he used a basecoat of approximately 50/50 Codex Grey/Bleached Bone. Shading was added with a Chestnut ink/Codex Grey mix thinned with water.
Then highlights were done adding first more Bleached Bone and then Skull White to the base colour.

I expect he used something like this method but simply added more highlight stages to make the material to appear a lighter gray.
For the undercoat on the valten model I expect that it was a black cos of the large area of armour to be painted - though I could be wrong as jakob has been using white undercoat alot recently...
