painting Tau armour

how do you paint Tau armour like used in the GW gallery?

that\'s the way I want it, for the pants I thought of Scorched Brown with Chaos Black and then buil up highlights to Scorched Brown with a little Bleached Bone. The lenses, Gold etc aren\'t very difficult also, but the yellowish armour looks quite difficult

The only guide on it now is the starter guide on the GW site, bu I\'m looking for a more advanced guide on it.

Do you top painters have a good one for me? and do you perhaps have photo\'s of it used on a mini of yours?

I think the yellowy brown colour is pretty much vomit brown - I\'ve only got ONE tau (Unfinished) but it looks the right colour to me...

Yeah I was also thinking of using Vomit Brown, as well as using bubonic brown and add bleached bone for the highlights

Also, as an aside - I like to make Tau armour look ceramic rather than ceramo-metallic like the Marine ceramite.

Therefore I do damage as lightened scratches and scuffs rather than showing metals.
