hey guys,

is there a good tut out there about painting wear (cracks, divets, etc) on armor? I\'ve never done it and want to give it a go.

Thanks Steel! That\'s what I was lookin\' for! I do need to try the pastel thing. I know Jen Haley has used them for other things such as shading, not just weathering and now that I have her brain to pick regularly . . .

You might also see if you can find Sheppard Paine\'s books on military modeling - lots of good stuff in there that transfers over.

Tutes by The Master™ here:

Cyril\'s website...

Go to the Tutorials section - they\'re in French, but have some great step-by-step pics. The marine helmet tute is particularly good.

You should also see the article by Yellowone in the first Darksons painting guide. Very good indeed despite the ropey translation.
