Wise words matty! People think i\'m insane for buying top end, but if you buy quality you buy something worthy of the job I say. Plus the fact It won\'t be outmoded by the end of the year (like a camera per-say).
This paint debate that keeps cropping up gives me a headache! lol. I really like the propperties of Vallejo that people keep going on about,but i\'m just so used to GW!
Time to bite the bullet I say...and if it goes off? Well shit happens, learn and move on :]

*Edit* Finn, your going to need a bigger boat lol Sorry couldn\'t resist! usind a bass as a paddle? That would be pure rock and roll! Mind and use something like a Bassmen and not one of those crappy small Ibanez numbers...full steamer ahead!

Disc Golf...for those who have asked is also called Frisbee Golf.

Parks around the different towns set up these little courses, and you \'golf\' it by using Frisbees (you can buy all different size and wieghted ones)

Each hole has a par, and you play it just like golf. The \"hole\" at the end is a bar set up with a chains.....oh crap HERE

Anyhow, its great fun and very inexpensive.

yeah, what supervike said. Just like golf there is a place to tee off, and throw the disk, you then walk to where it landed and throw again from there, and do this until you get it into the basket you can see in supervikes picture. It\'s made like that because the disk will hit the chains and fall into the basket.

It\'s specifically NOT called frisbee golf however, as at one point the frisbee people sued the sport for using their brand name, and so, generally disk golfers want nothing to do with the Frisbee company.

There are 100\'s of different disks to use, and they all fly differently, it\'s pretty amazing actually. Some fly faster/further, some curve right, some curve left, some float (for those water holes), some are made for rolling rather than flying, and there are even \"putters\" which are made for short accurate throws with a type of plastic which grabs onto the chains and stick better.

It\'s a great time, get outdoors with friends. I do think it\'s a very US sport (invented here), and hasn\'t spread much outside the country. We have full tournaments and a professional league for it even.

Well iv never seen that sport here in the UK, but we have snooker! lol which i dont think you Americans have, correct me if im wrong.

*Edit* @Supervike: Iv been watchin some of those Arrested Developments, iv definately never heard of them here in the UK, there quite funny but not the best in 10 years IMO (Shameless has to be one of my fav\'s, but i think thts just a UK thing) but im really enjoying the dilemma George Micheal is having with his cousin!!

It\'s not golf unless you get to excavate a field and beat the crap out of something with a club!

don\'t know about snooker but they have pool and eight ball. they use these big logs to push their big balls around.

sometimes i wonder about americans.

not for long though. :D

its played on a 6x4ft table and requires potting a red befoe a coloured ball and is pretty big in england with the world championship held here every year.

Actually America does have snooker but not all that populer unfortunatly. I have an older brother that use to own a snooker table and it was loads of fun to play, especially for me. i wasn\'t that good but i was super at screwing the next guy over by leaveign realy lousy shots. lol

What the hell are you talking about Funnymouth?

Are you trying to unhijack the thread we have all so happily derailed???

Snooker!! I never could understand the rules, but we had a local bar with Snooker tables.
