This is the very first mini I eve completed 100%, so if for nothing else I´m quite pleased with it for that reason.

I did 10-15 minis 15 years ago, but they never made it past the 50% mark, and neither did the two others I´ve started on since coming back, so this is the first I´ve been able to post here :)

I would like all the comments and critique you think is relevant so that the next one I do will be better!

nice work on a horrible mini (imo). cool base. the gold going down his leg could do with more shading, and maybe more contrast on the sword.

i know what you mean about finishing a mini though. it\'s a great sense of satisfaction

what he said, but id also bring the blue to a higher contrast, nothing drastically higher but a few more shades would make it really pop.

I have to echo Tim\'s comments about the ugly mini. It\'s the 80\'s size shoulder pads that spoil it for me.
As for the paint, very little to recommend, except I\'d maybe add some tonal shading to the Ivory Nearest to the inside of the mini and make the tightest creases in the cloak a touch brighter suggesting the tension in the material.

Thanks for the comments!

I have to admit that I really like the mini - maybe because it´s a bit \"different\" - but it´s easy to see why some might not.

on another note I´m having some problems with the pictures - those that are showing right now really aren´t that good because I had to let Cmon scale them down too 200k.

When I uploaded the montage to photobucket the result was this:

Can anybody tell me what I´m doing wrong when uploading to photobucket? what is a 1500x10000 pixel picture becomes a 150x1000 when uploaded :(

I finally figured it out, so I deleted the first listing and reposted it - pictures should hopefully be better now :)
