Not yet - were hoping for one of each - it makes it easier to tell them apart.

As to Mini Painting... well yea plan of storing your stuff for a year to 18 months.. really you will not have any time to paint and at 18 months plan on painting after bed time.. plus with twins... you won\'t have any space for your stuff anyhow!

Have fun.

So, I found out that not only am I certain to be a father, I get to be the father of twins.

Any advice?

1: Paint everything you can Now! Cos there\'s no chance in Hell you\'re gonna be painting for a long while.

That depends on how much you normally sleep :)). Surprizingly I got a lot of free time between night \"meals\" when they eat every 4 hours :). It was too early to go to bed and it wouldn\'t make any sense because they would wake me up at 2 am anyway. So.... I suddenly got 2 extra hours between midnight and 2, comparing to my \"pre-kid\" schedule.

However, when they start to walk paint shoudl be moved very very high, and computers too.... my son discovered a joy of pressing the Reset button repeatedly around 1.5 (you know... the screen was bright, then it is suddenly dark, then bright again... COOL). Before I figured that out the hardrive was gone

As a parent of twins(they\'re four now) I will second or third \"Get sleep now\". I would really lower your expectations as to what you will accomplish painting as even if you get some time you will be very tired.

Several weeks after the birth is challenging because the newness has worn off, so the adrenaline is gone, and you don\'t get so many visitors to help, and all you want to do is sleep, so be prepared for it. Things get better when you establish what your new routine will be.

Four years later we still aren\'t sure if our boys are identical or not(there is a family history of twins). But treat them as individuals, not as a \'unit\'.

Twins were challenging, but we survived and even eventually decided to have another(despite the pressure, I came through in the clutch and we had a girl :)) Don\'t know how many times that first year I told myself we weren\'t having any more kids.

Finally it is imperative to determine early on which is the \"evil twin\" and which is the \"good twin\".

Favorite nicknames: \"The heir and the spare\" and \"the test subject and the control\".
