Patience with Painting

I am with Eric and ff
I am a stubborn mule and can not stop till I am finished even if it means 5 times in the stripper , my motto is if it has not been stripped a few times it ain\'t worth it.
I have one unfinished mini to date and it hit file 13 aka trash can. It was the cmon horse rider. I have lost patience with my current project and seem to fail miserably at dark skinned women. bahhhh

Help me I am drowning in pine sol
I am consoling myself with Australian wine this makes the mini seem less effed up

I have so many half painted minis its not funny.

The norm for me is to start something and not finish it.

Right now - I have post painting contest blues. Anyone else get those. I did my best guy IMO -so far for the GOLDENGOBLINS. Then you just feel spent. I have a piece of awesome terrain sittin\' right in front of me and based- ready to go - right there... still hmmmm

Yeah, I know the feeling! You put so much effort and focus into painting this mini and when it\'s done and entered you\'d feel sort of drained for a while. I have tried to do several contests simultaneously, but that usually won\'t work since the first entry steal all your attention and then you get these blues afterwards... :~(

I have tried to push my way through the last 2 mini\'s. One is 95-99% done and the other I am still working on but is 75-80% done. But for the most part I will work on one for a while and then get bored and go onto something else.

Yeah, the concept of actually spending 20+ hours
or more on something is a bit alien compared to my assembly line mode.
Mayhaps it is because I have over 2000 minis:innocent:lol

My terrain has kinda taken over- I actually can put out things that are unique whereas with minis I hardly have an origional idea in me. I guess I could draw in my terrain skills and make dioramas.
