PDF? - imperial guard

hey

in terms of imperial gaurd, i cant remeber where i saw this, but i saw something about imperial gaurd and the PDF..planertary defence forces or sumthing..where the imperial gaurd wore blue armour and a sortve khaki outfit..am i right???..well anyone?

if so, does anyone know anything about it..

i find it interesting and like the idea of starting an army based around it

the uniforms of pdf depends on the planet. much like different guard uniforms.

PDF is basically like a Territorial guard army for that planet.

They don\'t get shipped off anywhere and everywhere like the regular guard, but remain in their civilian roles and jobs until they are needed and called up.

PDF forces are equipped and trained dependant upon the planet too, so a rich industrial planet might be better equipped, but a poor death world might be much better trained...
