SaxonAngel....(or maybe less of the angel) I think you have just upped the ante! Must give you a real buzz  lol

heh

The other tools usually have variable speed settings too. Now if they can only figure out how to make them body temperature..

Ooops
I think I may have gone too far with this now:p

Yup....

...definitely a rude awakening. I tried one of those once...it loosened all my teeth   :innocent:

Good vibrations

You should have tried a starter set type thing. They are usually cheap but can break easy. It comes with various shapes and sizes of \"tools.\" Odds are you will find one you like amongst them. Then when that one breaks or wears out, just buy a nice high quality device of the same size and shape, that\'ll last longer.

The ones with the interchangeable textured sleeves and attachments are the best.

Can you tell my husband is out of town alot.?
lol

Boy o boy am I getting myself in some trouble here.....

My boyfriend actually has no power tools. He ends up borrowing mine when he wants to do something. :D

I want a nail gun, but I can\'t justify the cost. I was the first female ever in the history of my middle school to take Woodshop (I started in the middle of the school year and there wasn\'t much choice anyway). I moved on to general metals in high school (I love arc welders... and the guys couldn\'t touch my skill with the oxy-acetylene lol).

It\'s been a while since I\'ve used my tools, though. As for other tools... well, who needs them with my boyfriend and his libido? :p :innocent:

Oh, and Tubbje...

*BONK!*

BONK!.gif

For shame!! I thought this was a CLEAN, WHOLESOME forum!! ;)

Is your real name Anne Summers?.....

.....at least BOB\'s are easily replaceable and don\'t cheat on ya. I\'m going to petition Dremmel for a special \'attachment\', may as well kill two birds with one stone...lol

That\'s an idea...

If Dremel made an attachment, Angela could bring her footswitch into play:bouncy::flip:

One of those flexible extensions might come in handy too:innocent:

Hmmmm.....

guys talk about their tools all the time :D This is girl-power....

On a related note after seeing Tuubje\'s cute kitty......why are cats so inquisitive??? Really kills the mood sometimes...lol

Heh, nope. And the relationship I have with my boyfriend is such that we completely trust each other.

Of course, it helps being stuck in the boonies with pretty much nothing around us to do. Takes an hour to get anywhere around here.

As for the topic here, what about Hirst Arts?

Bah! The extension sucks... Gets too hot from the friction of the piece inside the tube. Looses the wee bit of torque the dremel has too. I haven\'t used the extension in a year or more.

Ermm... So it is not good for drilling or sanding minis

We are talking about hobby related tools.... right? ???

Slow down girl, slow down......reduce that speed....The Dremel produces good torque but not at high speeds, you have to find the \'sweet spot\'.:innocent:

I\'m actually glad to get some feedback on that extension. I\'ve been looking at it and the other Dremel pieces but just haven\'t yet made up my mind.

Anyone know if there\'s an actual thread that reviews the various Dremels and the accessories?

No, Tuubje, you\'ve got the wrong thread. This one is about Plinths... that funky cool word. :p

Although it has quickly been hijacked into a thread about women and their power tools.

Maybe this should be For Women Only. :D
