hey CMON...

i finally have a few new pics to show off...
it took a while to get some decent lighting, as all the bulbs in mexico are horrible...
they cast the worst yellow, bart simpson, light...

this guy was painted for the contest over at The Pit of the Oni...

i was deathly ill while i was workin\' on this guy, my head was pounding for days on end, my joints were all swolllen and painful, and i could barely see straight...
in the end, i had to tie a bandana around my head to contain the pressure, like the karate kid, and soldier on to meet the deadline...
i\'m better now, but i was prayin\' for death by the end...

i had a lot of fun recreatin\' a GW scheme with P3 paints...
i think i may have adjusted the photos a bit too much afterwards...
live and learn...

with the studs on the right pad painted it may have been better to do the ones on the left pad the same.

you are so right generul...
i just looked at the GW one again, and the bolter gauntlet has the studs done in silver, so i assume the shoulder pad rim is too...

my brain wasn\'t workin\' well the last two weeks, since i felt like i had a spike driven through my temples...

i will have to go back and redo the studs before i sell this guy...

@DR: no swine flue, mate...
oddly enough, i think it was a severe case of dehydration...
i could be wrong though...
i have been known to kiss a few pigslol...

The blue armour is the best part This is the way marines looks best I think, with crisp and sharp highlights!
Love this mini.

I love the crimson fist colour scheme, works so well and you\'ve done a great job.

However, I really dislike this mini sculpt, not sure why, I want to really like it, but it just looks wrong to me, oh well.
