I finally bought the chess set I was babbling on about in this thread:

I also ordered \'Moona\' the witch.

They came today. The chess set has one missing base and a broken figure, Moona has two left legs...:(

I am beginning to think I am jinxed.

I had to take a book back to the shop recently because it had two chapter fives and no chapter six....:rolleyes:

my book has a couple repeating paragraphs and afew typos :rolleyes: still a good book tho! (not enough wrong with it to take it back.... its still all there for all i know) did make it a bit tricky to read tho.... had my self questions myselfe for al lil there lol

I apologise for strianing to combine the words Pegaso with Arseholes! for the topic of this thread. And before anyone complains...I am not insulting the good folk at Pegaso by calling them names, just giving vent to my frustration for getting the wrong bits in an order yet again!.

All right, I\'ll disregard the inappropriately-attired young lady, but I expect to see that chess set all painted up - by New Year\'s Day!! lol

No problemo!

Let\'s see...I am scheduled to retire in May 2024 (providing the Government doesn\'t up the retirement age again), so a fully painted chess set by January 1st 2025 seems entirely possible to me. Seven months should be long enough???

Anyway, what do you mean inappropriately attired? Shes wearing a hat for heaven\'s sake!!

Besides, it\'s art.....:bouncy:

EDIT: And I can prove it, haha! Here is the painting that inspired the miniature.
