people mistreating dark eldar with paint

Dark Eldar are one of my favourite races in 40k. Why oh WHY!?!? Does every NOOB picks them and absolutely cakes and smears them with utterly garish,complicated and neon colored paint schemes?
Do neon colors evoke a sense of anything other than visual revulsion? Are they dark, foreboding, are those people blind?

Sorry folks it\'s a \"pet peeve\" of mine(most people have cats and dogs).
So please take better care of them(or give them to me) or better yet post pictures of good ones here.
Ok I confess I am about to start painting my army and need inspiration.lol:innocent::idea:

lol i finished painting a friends dark eldar army... (poor things didnt stand a chance) unfortunatly he built them terribly and they needed stripping (never again will i elect to paint models that need striping and are poorly built) eny way.. id love to show pics but im not amazingly proud of them due to things outside of my controll.... however i will post this...

I do purple or bluish skin myself,gothy is ok....however neon green/chartreuse is right out! If a devotee of Slaneesh wouldn\'t wear it - there is a problem.

I agree with spacemunkie\'s poo comment about DE\'s. With all the ludicrous spiky bits they look like a bad album cover from the 80\'s.
