amazing work!!! i think however the base looks just perfect : you can see lots of details and superb painting without the base attracting all attention. I do feel a base should be of the same high level of the figure, like yours, but it's there to support the figure not overwhelm it. Just my two cents though,

that looks like it's going to become a brutal piece, leaving a comment to be sure I'm not missing any progress on it ;)

That Deathwatch model is also amazing, love the dramatic face!

I love that model and how you painted it. Brilliant!

When I get a bit more confidence in my painting, I'll give that model a go. Might be awhile, LOL.

you know you are entitled to enter every model that didnt place over and over if you like, even if they take pictures and your piece was a finalist. only criteria is no previous gd winning stuff (although i believe most people will agree thats not very fun after a while... ;) )

i really think this is a very good paintjob, perhaps the only detail i think you could improve is the metal on the ball'n'chain. also, is that a mouldline on the back of his sword or is the images playing tricks? :)

NP Lee, I will see you next time. I saw your entries and they are better in real :). Congratulation to final pins.

Thanks Skell, but take same entry again and again isn't fun as paint something new :) And there is no mondline on the back of the sword. The line, next to the bronze is second blade. Again, congratulation for demons.

BAS, you makes me smile again, next time try to write some truth :))
