Just like when I saw the WIP of that redhaired black and silver NMM marine. It is really impressive how just the guiding colour on the "basecoat" lits it up.

Thank you guys, I was little down, because work on the left leg didn't go well. So I relaxed on other parts and by mistake painted gloves. I don't know how paint chest armor under it... Nevermind, I have question for you about gems. What do you think, red like on the helmet or blue one like on the belt. Other colors on the model will be same as now, with exeption of pony tail, it will be brighter, and halberd, it will be some steel/chrome, black and blue on the power blade. Yea the blue on the blade will be in harmony with blue gems, red will be in line with pony tail and leather.

As it is now, I think I prefer the blue one, but I am not sure either... maybe paint the blade first and then see?

Personally I like the red but I think you are correct, paint the blade first and see what it looks like for balance of colours.

Dumb question.....why all the push pins around the perimeter of the support cork?

Thanks guys, yea it is too much gold and it will be worse after painting the rest. Now understand, why some parts on official paint are steel/silver. To broke the uniformity of surface.

@KruleBear: it is support for fingers, first prevents to touch the model from the grip, second the grip is more open and it is easier to hold distance of brush with hands together(it is hard explain). Similar pins on the bottom of the cork prevents fall of the holder, if it is put on the table.
