After reading the name contest for a pet, i got curious.
What pets do people have?
i have a jack russell terrier, about a year old now, which i named Davey. he\'s a lovely dog, if a bit stupid (he doesn\'t understand glass doors... nuff said) but i love him. so... what pets do you have?

Right now, just two cats, Inu and Achike. Inu means \"dog\" in Japanese, and Achike means \"go away\". Our two dogs, currently vacationing at my dad\'s house while we relocate, are Kochi and Dochi (\"come here\" and \"which one\").

However, in the past, my dad has had regular for-eating pigs, a pot-belly pig, and cougars (aka puma aka mountain lions)! You\'ve never really lived until you\'ve been face down on a couch while a 125lb cat sits on you and licks the back of your head!lol At the time, I was only two pounds heavier than her!

Oh, and ducks, bats, and burrowing owls. Even a cow named Bud. Had Bud burgers for an entire summer.

And since you\'ll wonder, my dad\'s called \"Wild Bill\" not because he\'s a partying dude. He\'ll take in nearly anything. The pot-belly pig just showed up at his place one day. About a week later, a local rancher admitted that someone dropped it off with his cattle, and so he dropped it off to my dad\'s! The regular pigs were going to be barbecue, but he grew too attached to Oinks McGee.

Yes, about as dangerous as a 125lb housecat. They were declawed, otherwise during playtime she\'d gut you. Not out of malice or intention, just because. But if you\'re small and lacked claws, quite dangerous. The alley cat we had regularly beat up on its bigger sibling. However, Dad was very happy that he\'d found a way to keep the employees from bringing in their toddlers!lol

The only time that she really hurt my father was because she didn\'t like the rectal thermometer. Course, I\'d try to bite someone if they did that to me! Dad was upset that the vet wouldn\'t sew up the bite wound there.

Currently i have a cat, suppose to be pure blood siamese but he\'s not even close to that. My mother in law actually bought him at a garage sale so his old name stayed, salem, however me and the wife call him the ratling on account he use to give us a look that made him look like a giant rat. I\'m pretty sure he\'s retarded now after all the head first full runs right into closed doors.

Where to start?

We have a 5yr old female boxer named Chevelle, and we just got the dane (the Name the Beast thread one), he\'s 16 months old. Still deciding on his name.
We have 2 cats. Mine is all black, and my wife\'s is his brother, and he\'s black and white. Bull (mine) is 23lbs, and Jack Jack (wifeys) is around 15lbs. They\'ll be 2 on July 4th.
We have a 20 gallon freshwater aquarium with a large angelfish named Gonzo, 3 cardinal tetra\'s, 2 neon tetra\'s, 2 cory\'s and a pleco.
We have a 55 gallon saltwater tank with only two clown fish (Nemo\'s), and an emerald crab and a hermit crab.

But, when peg says 125lbs of house kitty, its 125lb of pure muscle.

Ive always wanted one, but we know some people here who have two wolves, so Im seeing if I can get a pup off them.

We have a border collie tobey who thinks he is, at various times, a sheep, a lap dog, and a cat.

Having a 70 odd lb beast jump on you first thing in the morning is not something I enjoy waking up to.

We also have three cats, one ragdoll called sassy, whos a grumpy cow at the best of times.
Two siamese, a brother and sister, the brother is pure bred, perfect picture of what a siamese should be, and behaves.

His sister however, isnt.

Shes about half his size, has a stump of a tail, is cross eyed, and bow legged at the back and has a wicked temper, which she takes out on anyone and everyone, mostly her long suffering brother.
Not uncommon to see her hanging from the dogs head, biting him, as he runs around wondering what the hell is going on.

The two we have and their two other brothers were found under a tree, and we couldnt trace the owners, so, we kept these two, and gave the other two away.

Wishing Id given the lot away now, you should see what Ive just found in the hallway.
