Hmm.. though the second set of new ones are all at least 8.0+ minimum, it\'s amazing to see how much you\'ve gotten better!

that\'s mainly down to my bad photography in the first place lol
i didn\'t realize how bad it was and because of that i was putting in so much practice trying to improve.

it was only recently when i did a quick wip pic i remembered dragons reach once saying \"chris, that wip pic was much better than your useual ones, do what you did with that with all your other pics!\"

so i did, and i found i\'m much better off leaving photoshop out of the equation.
works for me, as it means less time faffing around.

just have to improve my painting enough to stand a chance when competing with the likes of the french and spanish (it would be easier trying to survive spilling a scottsmans pint!)

Those are lovely. I was thinking of re-photographing some of my older stuff, but I think my main problem is still at the application of paint point. The camera action just doesn\'t help!

Nice photos! And minis as well.. ;)

But is it that you used to do \"auto level\"? The better exposure, the less you need tweek, and the better and truer your image will look. These will definately work as they are... excellent for straight out of camera pictures!

some could use a little tweaking though.. just a little.. little bit. say hey to the PS junkie!

lol
i used to manualy try and do every single step, then i went to just auto levels, now none of it.

i\'m glad i gave up on photoshop, as every time i thought i had got the hang of it, i just butchered another pic.

and if i can get pics like these then gw should be able to do the same with the gd pics.
you would only need a couple of backgrounds to try and ensure you could suit most colour schemes.

That\'s a fantastic offer, and very kind. :) Unfortunately, I have to decline as I\'m moving to Germany on Wednesday. :( A shame, as I\'ve never been to a GD, but I am curious about what goes on at one. I shall just keep persevering for the moment. Actually doing some sustained painting might help! Thanks to that Rackham sale at SMG, I have a silly amount of figures winging their way to me. Joy! :flip:

Best of luck to you if you\'ve got stuff to enter, tho. :D
