I have a question of my own here. What program do you use? I have had a difficult time getting pics joined together with the program that came with the Cannon I use.

I use a program called GraphicConverter but it\'s Mac software so probablly not much help. I actually own (yes, paid for and everything) a copy of Photoshop but can\'t find the fricking CDs and I just got a new computer so can\'t get it installed.

I can\'t imagine there being all too much you need to do to mini photography that you can don\'t with GraphicConverter, anyway. I own both, also, and find myself doing more and more with GC these days.

I use a bouce flash and two small slave flash units off to the sides. The two slaves I bought where about $15-$20 each. I set them about 3-8 feet away from the table depending on the matterial I\'m using for defusing the light. The bouce flash I point at the ceiling and use a defuser there also. I have played around with different colored defusers and it can help or hinder.

If you really are serious about talking very good photos of your minis you may want to check out a light shed or a desktop studio. They start at about $120 and go up fast in price. They are nice and after you look at them you can tell the people that are using them.

I\'m also using fluorescent daylight lamps and they works really well without startup time.
Take a look here:

you can find all the lamps you need at reasonable prices
