It was a great weekend. I can\'t remember most of the names of the people that are there because I\'m awful at that but here are the people who were there;

The guy with the beard is Kevin Knipple, the guy who\'s house we had the class in.

I am embarrassed to admit I\'m not sure who\'s who in those pictures

Horrible picture but that\'s KatieG
Jeremyclass015.jpg

A painter who lives in the same town as me! I never knew that!
For some reason I don\'t have a clear picture of Olliekickflip. We\'ll have to ask Meg to give us one.

The master himself. If you ever see him ask him about foot fingers. You\'ll make him laugh.

Some of the vultures soaking up what they can of Jeremy\'s genius.

I\'ll post some of the pics we took of jeremy\'s work in discuss submissions after I\'ve unpacked. for now here\'s a preview

Very nice, i wish there was one of these in the uk, i\'d love to go along.

Did you have to be a certain level of skill first to get the most out of the class or was it possible to learn alot with average skills ?

I\'m very jealous ;)

Not at all. He\'ll teach anyone of any skill level at all. He\'s a great teacher and if you contact Olliekickflip by PM here he\'ll probably let you know how to set something up with Jeremy in the UK. I don\'t see why he wouldn\'t.

Glad you had a good time there, Liz. I believe someone mentioned about getting Jeremy over here but that they couldn\'t find a venue that wouldn\'t be cost prohobitive. I don\'t know about anyone else but I would also think our houses are too small.

When was the class, Liz?

Started on Friday and ended yesterday. Lots of fun and VERY good! Covered priming, painting, and sculpting bases. Painting covered metalics, cloth, faces. All the basics.

Hello,

How often do classes like this take place? I would love to attend one but I never know any of this sort of stuff is going on. If you know of any future classes like this can you put a post in the forums about any information you have? I live close to LA but I would drive anywhere to take a painting class just to see how other people work. Thanks.

So wheres a picture of your smiling face Liz? you got everyone elses with the camerea..fair is fair :p

Anyhoo to answer Aliengod3\'s question, I be leave these classes were advertised here on CMON and other forums to find people interested to take part, but that was months ago and since you only became active you may of missed it. Id suggest you join Aaron\'s (Oliflipkicks) forum Pacificmarauders.com as thats where events like this that he organizes get posted also.

Also, many times these classes get organized and filled quite quickly by groups or clubs who pay to bring the painter over for the class. Classes usually cost about $150.00 per person to defray costs. Jeremie on this trip will be teach in SD, SF, Seattle, Denver and Washington DC. So if your truly serious, take the reigns and find 10 friend who would be willing to do something like this and work at setting one up. One thing Jeremie and other painters like to do is travel and teach. PM olliflipkick and ask him questions..he will help you for sure ;)

@ Aliengog3: I will but PM olliekickflip here and he should be able to give you Jeremy\'s itinerary for this US trip. I think he\'s in Chicago next but I\'m not sure. The last time he was in California was about this time last year.
@ DFD: I was taking pictures but I think sosmeone got one of me somewhere along the line. I\'m not sure. Besides, I hate having my picture taken. ;)

@sg2009: I know! :D

Mebbe it would be possible to get him to come to one of the Platoon Brittanica events, should also be cheaper for him to get to the UK from France then it would be to America.
