It Could be a decale.. you can very easy print your own these days with a ink jet printer. Ive done it many times.

No way this is freehand (as the picture title says). The cap seems to \"3d\" to be just painted on - it extends off the shoulder pad. If this is painted, it\'s a damn good optical illusion. it also looks like a pretty awkward angle to me... I\'d say shopped.

I\'d say Photoshop also. For a decal the size of a pencil eraser that is way too tight of detail.

UMMM Maybe.. but as I look at it and the text on the shoulder and lowr leg it doesnt have the curvature that it should.. its straight across a round surface..same goes for the face..Bad photoshop.

Well it\'s possible this is freehand... but not from the painter of the rest of the figure!

With any claim like this you want to see more work from the same person, see what their level is like consistently, but the rest of the figure is pretty good evidence here.

I\'d vote photoshopped as well... for the same reasons as mentioned above. I vote for the guy showing 4 extra pictures of the freehand.... from different angles and zooming... doesn\'t even have to be nice pictures, just quick snapshots... a set of pictures should be made easily when it\'s painted on the shoulderpad right .... now photoshopping it on it in 4 different viewpoints and have them all match... now there is a task
