Interesting, \"quality\" minis that is:cool:

A suggestion arose in another thread, about which I have also been PM\'d, about the lack of good quality, interesting minis and asking for advice about where these might be obtained....

Now, I don\'t think there is a lack of quality minis and my Bank Manager would be forced to agree with me:D

So, rather than just provide my own ideas, I thought I would kick-off a new public thread, because twenty heads are better than one....besides, I keep discovering new sites/manufacturers etc so the more contributions the merrier....

Nice ones!!

This sort of thread is useful for when folk suddenly discover that there is a world outside GW. I have added it to my favourites and will ressurect it occasionally when the occasion demands.

Nice stuff, knew many of them before, but nice. Unfortunately Heresy seems to be unable to process my order (didn\'t answer my order E-Mail or any of my two follow-ups from two other accounts - Spamblock maybe?) and I want those miniatures so bad :( And I don\'t trust ESLO while Battlefield Berlin doesn\'t have any.... anybody know another German shop that also carries Heresy?

When I had entered my dislike for lack of good minis to paint I had no idea a knew thread would be started with so much helpful sites what can I say again but thanks to all

If Vanquisher hadn\'t made me realise that great mini sites are not as well known as I thought, I wouldn\'t have even considered starting such a thread.....;)

Andy, (Mr Heresy) is brilliant!!! I know he has had computer troubles recently and it looks like your emails have been lost. Trust me, try him again...he is quick and reliable.:D

I think Crocodile Games has some gorgeous sculpts. I don\'t collect them because I\'m not really into it, but they are very well made. Did anyone ever watch the short lived series from the 80s Manimal?

ps. does anyone do a Star Wars line? And is it any good? I\'ve never seen any Star Wars minis on this site, which leads me to believe either there is not, or they suck.

Oh I remember Manimal, I think it was on Friday nights, right after Night Rider...

I recall it was pretty awful, but for a 10 year old with an overactive imagination it was perfect! (which I think I was at the time)...

I agree about The Wargods minis. I love the sculpts but just not to into the imagry. From what I understand eventually they will produce more minis under the Wargods title (from the Norse, the Greeks, etc. etc.) NOW that would be something I definately want to get a hold of.

I noticed a little blurb about some new Star Wars minis being done by WOTC. Sounded like the sculpts were cool, but they were PRE-PAINTED (yuck) Might be worth checking out though...

Then there\'s...

Mongoose Publishing, who are bringing out both Judge Dredd and Starship Trooper mini games and mini lines (hopefully before Christmas... but prolly early 05).... Mr. Andy Chambers is on the ST design team, so it all looks rather promising atm :D
