pic resizing issues

OK, so I have been having trouble posting clear pics. when I first submit them they look perfect but when they get approved and activated or whatever the get all blurry. I cant figure it out my pics are within the width limit at each around 599X1900, are the to long?

Regardless of what the file size the physical dimensions of the image will be squished to fit into the website template. Everytime a web images size is altered and the resolution isn\'t it will need to be re-rasterised thus the bluring. Try and balance the physical size of the image with the file size. In photoshop you can do this when you outout your images for the web; there is a tab that can take you to the physical size of the image. get this bit done first then alter the compression rate to get the maximum quality for the file size.

Limits are 600px wide and 200kb in size. Make sure that the image is smaller than 200kb or it will get massively compressed. Shouldn\'t be any problem with height of your pic.
