ok i didn\'t want to draw attention to the mini. but i do want to know peoples thoughts on the photo.

especially the size. it is 600X690 which is fairly large on my monitor (800X600)
my other pic is also the maximum 600 wide.

is this too large? should the mini have a larger frameing area?
mostly would this mess with peoples votes.
ie to long to load. to big. i can see every flaw etc.
thanks for reading.

oh yeh the pic.

I have seen bigger

The picture didn\'t take too long to load on my computer. But you are right, really slow loading pictures get me really cross, which is probably not going to increase my generosity level. Yours does not seem too much of a problem however in this respect.

It is a bit too big however, I had the urge to pull away from the screen when it opened. I don\'t think that will affect your votes too drastically but if it didn\'t represent too much of a problem, it might be an idea to shrink it a little bit.

If you have Photoshop etc it might also be a good idea to \'autolevel\' it.

Yeah, it is a bit too big, but I didn;t have any trouble loading (I have cable modem, though..:p ). My rule of thumb is about 6-7 inches for a human sized figure. That would translate into abou 9-10 inches at 72 dpi for ogres and warjacks. Also, is the pic is still too big compression wise, newer versions of Photoshop allow you to save for the web. It\'s funny, but humans can\'t tell when colors have been taken down to 80%..

From a strictly uneducated, layman\'s point of view, I don\'t think the pic is too big. But it IS on the big end of the range of acceptable pic sizes...so you\'d be ok making it a bit smaller if you so desire.

I gave it an 8. I really like the pattern...it reminds me of the local cafe in my home town. Almost that exact same patter in some of the table tops. Plus, it\'s refreshing to see somebody do one of these in an imaginative color scheme.
