Pick-a-boom diorama

[Routaporsas]

Here is my "duel" diorama or display. As you can see it contains lone guardsman who is attempting to ambush chaos sm terminator. Hulking terminator marine is unaware of his opponent who is just about to shoot a (hopefully) deadly blast from his plasma pistol.

That's actually my first piece where I have used more than just one miniature. So this took some time to finnish because I'm also rather slow painter but now that it is done, I rather happy about the outcome. Some things should be done better next time I plan to do this kind of work. I also wonder why that red seems to look so bright. I dried to tone it down because IRL it's less, well less candylike red. But at least it looks nice enough.

I really like it all, but one tiny bit sticks out a little bit, which is the inside of the pipe, which is really dirty on the outside, but is really clean on the inside

Apart from that, its really nice

like the dio very much the colours are very nice, over all the painting is top draw.

I love the color composition...where everything is muted and drab, but that chaos dude POPS in his red.

Thanks for comments. Nice to see that people like it. But no more terminators (at least for a while). I noticed that most of my best painted works are termies of some sort. And I have already thought about converting Typhus for my collections. But seriously, next work is going to be something else

I really like it. Very well painting and the chaos marine is so good; very nice red on him.
