Picture loads rotated 90 deg

Hi all, sorry if this isn't an appropriate forum I wasn't sure where's the best place to ask. One of the photos I'm uploading always loads rotated 90 degrees despite being normal on my computer. I even tried rotating it and saving a rotated copy on my computer but even that still loads it in the same orientation as the first upload I tried. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

Odds on you've taken the photo on a mobile phone?

Basically either the image is rotated as it is or there is metadata telling the viewer "I should be rotated". So things can go wrong in sites or apps that don't account for both and the cmon site is pretty old.
Try looking at options of programs to rotate the image in. My guess is that the one you used only set the metadata.

Whenever this happens, I open the photo on my phone in the normal iphone editing menu, rotate it 90' four times (so back to normal), save and reupload and its fixed.

Thank you, rotating 360 degrees and re-saving helped. It's up properly now (pending approval) and I might as well invite you over ;p.
