Heya folks!

First of all I want to thank you all for being around to help everyone, its really nice to have folks take a critical eye on what has just been done. So thank you!

Secondly I submit for your amusement my Cairn Wraith from GW. I really tried to get a good score out of this one, although I think if I had to do it again i would have thrown in some freehand on the cloak somehow. I did have some questions about the photo I have submitted with the model.

My concern is putting the pieces best foot forward and so I wonder if the picture is zoomed in close enough to the piece, if the lighting is sufficient, and if the background is too uniform? I have seen gradients on many peoples backgrounds and I haven't managed to obtain some of those yet. Additionally I wonder if the angle on the mini is too flat, would a steeper angle to be looking down at the model have been better?

I hope you all like it! Thank you again for your time!

I think the picture is close enough. If you wanted to show any specific details you could always go marco and really get in close on those areas and include them in the montage. Good choice on the background too. You may need a secondary light source or maybe just use bounced or indirect light to knock back some of the harshness and reflections. Solid work all around!
