Pie clown

Sculpted the fur trim on the trousers a few days ago. Today I started work on the fingers clutching the snowball:

I think this was the most up to date photo of the conversion:

...and here is the (rather rushed) paint job:

I didn't even finish painting around his back! I'd like to revisit this next year, improving on the paint job and actually taing a decent photo. I find it hard work taking representative photos of my painted mini's (not that I have many...). Better check out some "how to's"...

Too hard on yourself. Like I was saying on MS, might be worthwhile to strip it down and have it casted up, ready to go in November, before you repaint it. Unless you have other holiday mini plans.

If I made a seasonal mini' for casting I'd make a nice new one especially :)

Depending on how things go next year a halloween and christmas mini' could certainly be on the cards!

I got your pie fight clown as a gift from a friend and I like it a lot. I'll get him painted up soon, he has great personality.

Here is a cool painted Pie Clown posted to me by the very kind (and very talented) mrdee1969:

Looking forward to seeing the results of other paint jobs currently in the works :)

It's still a work in progress... but here's a picture of what I have been able to do so far.
(sorry for the lack of quality in the picture)

I still need to finish the target... paint the pies... design the poster (that will be glued to the outdoor behind the clown)... and do the base (it will probably be a grass field).
I'm thinking of having it ready in the beginning of January.

Here's my entry for the Pie Fight Competition.

It's not much of a paint job...
but I had a lot of fun painting it and it was a very good training.
I'm still trying to "colour inside the lines" but painting this mini made me realize that I should have done some things other way.

Hope you all like it.

Great job Sagh! Have added it to the Facebook album. I'll be rounding up all the entries over the coming days and spread the news regarding the voting when the time comes.

That's a really cool build on that clown. Almost finished with mine, it is a great little sculpt sir.
