Pinning

So I\'ve been wondering, do you really have to pin the arms on a 30 mm plastic miniature? I understand that pinning metal miniatures is necessary because of the weight, and bigger model for sure! But the arms on a 30 mm plastic Space Marines? I have never pinned arms on 30 mm plastic and no arms have fallen of yet.

I wouldn\'t pin the arms on a 30mm plastic mini either. Unless I looked at it and thought \"Hrm, I really should pin those\".

Depends on the mini/pose/sculpt etc.

It might depend how you glue them.

If you use superglue it might be necessary.

If you use plastic glue that makes the two parts weld together then it\'s really not necessary; or else you\'re playing really too rough with your minis ;).

I always pin just as a matter of cause really... it only takes a couple of minutes of extra work on plastic minis and you know it\'s goin to stay intact.

Echoing the above....

Depends on what mini tbh, stance etc,

generally i never pin plastic as the plastic glue works really well,

I will always pin metal and resin however, super glue is sometimes not that Super.
