Pirate Queen

Hey kids.

I\'ve just posted my version of the Freebooter Pirate Queen. She\'s a really nice figure, although I\'m not sure about the hat.

Anyway, votes, comments etc. always welcome.

I\'m still struggling with getting a decent picture - the colours look a bit washed out and the halfling cabin boy is out of focus. But hopefully you get the idea.

This is really, really nice. The cream colour you\'ve used is beautiful and i also like the jacket a lot, and it has simple but effective basing.

i would like to see larger pictures on this one, just so that i can see more details like the halfling, but from what i can see its very good, this is a strong 8 in my book. Some of the brown bits look a little flat to me, like the cabin boys hair and her boots so for this reason its only an eight, but i think if these things were sorted out it would be a sure 9.

Been thinking about picking up that mini. Nice job! I\'m not a big fan of the green to contrast with the red...looks a little too Xmas-y for me, but it\'s very well painted. I will second the opinion on the off-white of the clothing. Very nicely done. The highlights on the boots are a little stark and thin. Maybe a little more in-between colors to help add depth.

Overall, fantastic work!

Sweet looking mini. I\'ve never described a mini like this way before... she is HOT! lol Great job. I don\'t think the hat looks that bad.

Top rate work, Aescarion. Really nicely done. I personally find the hat to be a little, uh, suggestive. :idea: Perhaps you should put a little fur around the rim. :innocent:

The top pic is much better than the others. The others seem a bit washed out - but looking at the top one is enough.

I\'d definitely get some better quality pics of it up. It looks like a quality bit of painting, but it\'s hard to tell how good as there is a distinct lack of detail in the pics.
