Pjotir the Grymn - Hoping for feedback

Hi People!

I\'ve been painting again... this time its a mini-me by Hasslefree Miniatures! Pjotir is a Grymn, and as usual with Kev\'s sculpts is very smooth and crisp. A real pleasure to paint! Makes me excited to do the next one - a Shaolin-style kung fu monk! Mmmmmm he is cleaned and primed and ready to go!

ANYWAY.... where was I.... oh yeah.... Any critique will be most graciously accepted as Pjotir is the first of many (in fact to date, ALL) Grymn I intend to paint for a squad, so I need them to look similar, but if i can improve as I go along even better!

I hope you like him! Please vote and comment if you have the time and/or inclination

Neat, I like the face and red armour. The colour of the gloves is strange though, it\'s so green and shiny and doesn\'t really look like leather.

It\'s not green like...you know goblins are. But it looks like dark brown with a bit too much green in it. But the colours look different on the upper left pic anyway compared to the ones below.

Yup, it does look rather green in the top left pic... that pic as a whole seems to have a greenish tinge.

Beautiful model though. The red is gorgeous.

Great mini. No tips for improving, just keep going on the blending, freehand and colour theory.

One thing you should do..

Tell me how you do those reds lol

Really nice mini Pétur, he\'s not big so really all of the mini is my favourite, overall just very well painted :D
And that\'s an ace base(rhyming, mwahaha) and I\'m looking forward to seeing a whole bunch of these little people with guns paintidd by you :)

8.7 IMB :D

Nice mini, I have voted with a 8.
I really like the reds, the freehand work and the boots.
The trousers need some more highlight (maybe is just the picture) as well as the hair but probably is just my personal taste :)

The only part I will change is the bolter, too dark and the metal looks a bit grainy.

Wonderful work on the base.

great job...

The face is great, as are the reds...

I am not familiar with this mini. Is he supposed to be a halfling or a dwarf, he looks a little heighth challenged....

Yeah - he\'s a space dwarf or Grymn as they are called, so he is about an inch tall. This is a master of a model being released soon by Hasslefree Miniatures... so that could be why you dont recognise him ;)

ah!!

Well, since he is so much smaller, my admiration of your paint job has grown as well!!

Thanks for the explanation....
