Most of the metalics are done now. I tried out a new technique for aged metal using an 'Eavy Metal tutorial from UK White Dwarf 369.

Update time. I was a bit unsure about what colour to paint the gun casing. At the end I used Khemri Brown as a basecoat which turned out well IMHO.

Nice conversion! I always thought 40K needed more 'brain in a bot' servitors besides the 'lobotomy in a romper suit' type. Painting's looking good too, particularly the metals.

There is seldom a model that actually looks frightening to me. But with this one there is something about the scull and the overall impression that reminds me of having seen "Terminator" way to early ;-)

@ misterjustin: I have a (some say unhealthy) obsession with metalics and trying new techniques for them. I have some tutorials for metalics on my blog if you're interested. Well yes, that's another sameless plug by Brother Captain...

@ Yuggoth: I'm so happy to hear that! One of the main reasons I converted and painted that mini is because GW's servitors looked goofy to me and I wanted my servitors frightening with an extra dose of grimdarkness.
