i like him. some of the shading does seem a little thick in places but the skin is great

I think the thick shading is intentional- its rust and not shadow.

Very nice stuff, he doesn\'t look too stable on that bast though!

Very nice! I too like the contrast between the purple and green. The face looks very smooth and well painted and works excellent as a focuspoint. You might however consider trying to push the level of contrast a bit. The edging is slightly inconsistent as well as you\'ve painted some edges facing upwards, but left it out on others. A final thing would be to choose another color for the light effect of the plasma. The effect is well done, but gets lost against the green armour. Great job!
