yes, yes i have just copied a post from PAINTING AND CONVERSIONS but their you go. thought here would be better for it. is there anywhere i can buy plasticard in the uk?

Any model or train shop in the UK should carry it. You may also want to try looking under styrene Plastic sheet as thats what it really is.

Many companies make it like Evergreen, Plastruct from the USA and Slaters from the UK.

If your anywhere near Nottingham I know Gee Dees Model shop carries a nice selection. Google them as they have an online store.

Model Zone a chain in the UK should have it also.

If I ever have a gripe against GW, its their constant use of the words Plastic Card or plasticard to describe it. Yeah it might be what people in the UK call it bit its known more by Styrene Plastic world wide.

I use, to pretty good effect, for sale signs. All they are is very thin styrene, and when sold as signs, about a quarter of the price than when sold as hobby supply.
Should be able to pick them up at any builders supply.
