Hi all... ok, an update...
The forum isn\'t live yet, Dave (Kaine) has been doing a sterling job getting this set up for us on the new site and we re-pointed the nameservers to the new site a few days back, so the old PB site is now gone.
As soon as it\'s all enabled and ready to go we\'ll shout it from the rooftops... suffice to say, we need to chat to everyone about meet-ups REALLY soon.

No idea if that was meant to be funny, but it was
Platoon Britannica was set up at the begginning of this year as a national organisation for the UK mini painting/modelling community as a way of letting painters meet with each other, chat, exchange ideas and in general raise the standard of painting and modelling in the UK.
PB organises regular national events where members can come along and display their work, there are live painting/sculpting demos and other stuff... the first one was at GW\'s Warhammer World venue in Nottingham in July.
The organisation also encourages it\'s members to form local groups/teams to allow more regular meet-ups and for people to exchange ideas and critique each other\'s work face-to-face... whether you\'re from Harrogate or anywhere else in the UK ;-)
The organisation has just got a new website and forum which is now fully up and running here:
