Hi folks...


Don\'t want to steal the entire bandwidth of CMON for the same subject... but wanted to get a thread started on here for the UK mini painting event which is announced here:

It\'s not until July, but we wanted to start getting an idea of how many people may be interested in it as early as possible.

We\'ll also use this thread to post announcements about what will actually be happening at the event as we get closer to the date.

If you are interested in coming along, can you give your name, or the name of your painting team, how many of you will be attending and wishing to display your minis, and a contact e-mail address either here on this thread, or by e-mail to:

Hi folks... this is posted here and on the thread in General Discussion to ensure folks see it...



just a quick heads up to those who have expressed an interest in the event on 27th July...

It seems to be proving more popular than we had originally anticipated :) This is a good thing, but we are having to start looking at what the capacity of the venue is, certainly from the perspective of space for people to display their minis.


With this in mind, please can anyone who intends to attend and wants to display their work please e-mail us at the Platoon Britannica address:

events@platoonbritannica.org.uk

and let us know asap. At present we are aiming for 1/3rd to 1/4 table per person, which is about a 3ft by 2ft area per person at least (pretty big!) If however you are a team of six or seven coming together we may be able to give you two whole tables to yourselves or similar.

The display space will have to be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so if you want to display minis, PLEASE e-mail us!!!

If you don\'t get a reply in a few days, pm me on CMON and I\'ll get back to you.

Likewise, if you want to give a painting demo or a sculpting demo... please let us know now so we can guage numbers.

Everyone who\'se already e-mailed us expressing an interest, we\'ll e-mail this request to you also.
