Playing with dolls

I am currently working on a Mid Nor mini, the Master of Puppets, and today I painted his little canopic doll. When I had finished it I thought it deserved a little attention on its own, so I stuck it onto the (unfinished) base and posted it.

I like the blood, or whatever it is on his feet and the blue eyes, im guessing that\'s a 20mm base too :rolleyes: :)

I think if you can get a bit of colour into the base without drawing attention away from the puppet it will be even better.

i voted an 8, though without being completely completed its morelike a 7.5

Can\'t wait to see the master of puppets if this kinda quality goes into his familiar.

Very nice puppy.. can\'t wait to se the finished mini! However I\'m not so fond of that particular sculpt.. It will be nice to see what you can do with it!

The base is actually a 50 mm round base, but you can\'t see the whole thing in the picture. The puppet is 8 mm high and the cross is 1 cm. I will try to get some colour on the base, though I\'m not sure what I will do. There will be no green, since that wouldn\'t match the character of the Mid-Nor dwarves. I\'ll come up with something though... Mushrooms, maybe... :idea:

You could glaze the base with varous hues.. it really brings life (or perhaps death depending on colour) to rocks. Choose what you think suits the character.

Nice work anders, I particularly like the red coming up his legs, very nice touch. Can\'t wait to see the mini attached to the base as well!

The master is on my desk getting ignored at the moment. He\'ll get finished eventually. :)
