Pretty darn good for your 10th mini! I think it shows a lot of promise, very clean and good color balance.

What I would suggest is slightly more shading, which is of course very hard to do on white, and also another level of highlights on the dark colors, just to define everything better. Of course a better photo wouldn\'t hurt!

More shading and another level to your highlights. I would also highlight the sand on your base. From what I can see it looks like you have clean lines. Over all a nice job for your 10th mini.

One of the best things you have done is to ask for help. You\'ll go far with that attitude. These forums are an absolute gold mine of good friendly advice.

contrast...

Using more contrast between either colors or with more layers of shading and highlighting will really help add some \'zing\' to your minis.

It seems a miniature looks so much more dramatic and interesting when this type of overexaggeration is used. But, that being said, it is also a fine line, because it can be over-over done (if you can follow my strange logic)

Good stuff, keep it up!

Firstly let me say hello and welcome to the forums.

I have voted and commented on your mini, so far what I can see is a neat and tidy paintjob. You now need to go a step further and try experimenting with shades and highlights and picking up on details.
There are many articles on all aspects of this hobby for you to read and also plenty of people here who will help you.
The most important thing is to keep practicing and see what your imagination can come up with.
