Please help me strip some mini\'s !!!!!

Okay, I did my homework and I bought some Castrol Super Clean to strip the Slannesh army I bought on E-bay that looks like Pepto Bysmol on two legs. I have soaked the 3 minis I wanted to try it on (Dread/Metal Daemonette/Metal Marine/Plastic) after 3 days the CSC is evaporated half way and the minis still have their paints on them. I tried running them under water and no luck.

I can scrape some paint off easily, but I can\'t very well get into the cracks and it would take a year to get this clean. Is there something I did wrong, something that works better? Please help!!!!!!???
