In his defence, perhaps Rondebar doesn\'t speak/read English? All the titles of his minis come up as random symbols on my pc, which usually suggests a non-Roman alphabet.

yeah you could be right, I\'ve voted on one shot of it, but not any others that have come up (I\'m having a voting 20 mins)
I haven\'t been nasty and sniped them tho, I\'ve just moved on to the next mini with the big arrow

That\'s what I usually do, too. It is annoying though, I agree.

The dead termy is mine and yes there are a few images of it...however, each has a different base and I was looking to see which of the bases go the best vote. Maybe it wasnt the best way to go about it but that mini was also my first post on here and I wasnt aware that posting multiple images would be frowned on. As a point worth noting you\'ve done the same with an Aragorn model (which is very nice by the way) on your own gallery where you\'ve showed it with updated work. All I\'m saying is that people who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

I suggest that anyone seeing (new) multiple submissions should forward the user to this thread or PM me or any other moderator. Sometimes they will slip through, especially as all the views may not be posted at the exact same time so there might be different moderators approving the images.

@Col: Point taken, but to be fair there are 5 months between my Aragorn submissions and both do include multiple views

....but, yes I should have taken into account your newness, and for that I apologise, although in my defense I didn\'t name you

@col: i don\'t think that posting WIPs in the gallery is really bad form, especially if a significant amount of work has gone on between submissions...
i do think it is a waste of gallery space, when the forum works just fine for feedback...
it also seems like WIPs will score lower than finished minis anyway...

i think that Mick\'s point is more about people needin\' to learn how to make a collage for their submissions...
it looks better, and will get better votes...
a single pic of the back of a mini is not going to score as high as a nice multi-view submission...
it will also get more votes...
i\'m not about to go through 5 submissions of the same mini and vote for each angle...

finally, i think everyone should be forgiven a second submission of a mini with better pics...
for most of us, photography is something we are still learnin\' and experimentin\' with...

i have yet to stumble upon the right set-up for my camera, and the best way to work the levels with photoshop, but it was simple enough to learn how to make a collage...

I have since learned how to do collages with pics so no more multi posting for me

i would have thought the best option if you aren\'t sure of which base would be to do a poll on the forums. people can then say why

lol yeah no probs, I\'m pretty thick skinned
look forward to your future projects, you\'ll also get better feedback posting your WIPS in the forums anyway and like Freak said you can also do polls as well


don\'t forget when you are ready to put something in your gallery you can submit bigger pics now as well, for even better scrutinizing :twisted:
