On the 17th ( Sat) of May I am doing a sponsored walk / run, from BARNSTAPLE fire staion to BRAUNTON fire station & back (Approx 12 miles). To add some spice to it I will be carrying a breathing apparatus set on my back in a rucksack.
I am doing this for the Fire Service Benevolent Fund & the Royal Marine Commando Benevolent Fund.

yeah don\'t expect a lot (Work pay is being screwed atm so i don\'t know what my finances are like)! but i shall post it whenever i can get my grubby hands on some stamps (i seem to have lost my book). and why aren\'t they cheaper when you buy them in bulk?!!

yeah you\'re right there. they sell this agenda for change thing as being wonderful and state that we will not get paid less. but we have to work more hours for the same pay. ie we get paid less per hour. cheeky bastards. they also claim that they have paid me £6 an hour too much for every call i put in for 3 years. now as thats between 20-80 calls a month, it\'s gonna be a hell of a whack
