I was curious if anyone stateside had a recommendation on where to acquire wood display plinths for the wood shop challenged? I've found several places overseas but nothing has jumped out to me here in America.

Michael's, A.C. Moore, Hobby Lobby, and I think Walmart has some in the crafts section as well.

You can also combine wooden blocks with wooden bases (from the above mentioned craft stores) or wooden banister tops (from DIY stores like lowes or home depot) to make some cool plinths ;)

Also check awards/trophy stores. They will probably have finished plinths. Not sure on pricing, but I expect it will be at a premium depending on style.

Aye but if you ask, they sometimes have cheap left overs or broken ones. Also, cheap wooden frames make good dio bases
