im thinking of doing a sculpt "knife fight"

this is the template im undecided as to the characters, so heres the choices i've come up with so
far
1. space marine scout v orc

2. space marine v space marine (training cage)

3. chaos marine v space marine

4 space marine v tau (see how good you are in close combat lol)

the above is in berlin by the way.

there are so many combinations ma hed hurtz

But seriously. Do you want brutal combat or balletic grace? An Orc in that head down position could be chewing a hole in the chest of his opponent, cut marks all over the place, spurting blood, raw, sweaty & quite blocky. Particularly if you go with a Terminator armoured chap. Eldar vs Tau could be far more flowing. What scale is this to be, your quite large work might suit a suitably complicated Harlequin pattern? A chance to show off your painting chops after the murky plague of Nurgle marine? Does a training cage mean the base is sorted? is it physical or laser/energy/force beam type cage?

I see a scout on the right and an ork on the left. Ork head either biting into the scout, or its neck twisting round to scream into the scouts face.

Or an Eldar Scorpion on the left ripping into a terrified Tau on the right. The chainsword having clove the Tau's gun in two as it staggers back holding a part in each hand before its inevitable demise.

Well, either a 'pretty-boy' Blood Angel vs a Black Legionnaire. OR, as BPI said, a Tau Ethereal with their ceremonial hand weapons vs an Eldar warlock. Actually, that last is what *I* would like to see.

MvM in the cage would be pretty neat. I think they have a choice of weapons too, so field to play with there.
Just need to remember the black carapace thing they have going on.
Although don't do Blood Angels! I'd just get a morpheus type voice in my head while looking at the taining diorama saying ; "Stop trying to kiss me and kiss me!".

the most popular theme seems to be m v m in the training cage/floor i've done some research re physique, whoever said that power armour was unfeasable and out of proportion may have been slightly off on this one.
