ok, lets act like no double standard exists, just to see a response
Of course they exist, I\'m not disputing that.

is personal opinion not still personal opinion when it comes to looks? and if so is it not fair to agree that no matter what the personal opinion is on looks that it is neither \"cruel\" nor \"unkind\" to like or dislike a certain attribute or quality?

I agree. Personal opinion is neither right nor wrong.

high class, popular people actually have life much harder because its harder to always live up to high expectations/standards than it is to lower ones

I call bull@#!t on this one. :) Most often they also have things easier than the not-so-popular people.

this is society, and it will always be the battle of the highs vs the lows, the hot vs the not, the sexy vs the beast and so on

I agree again. However, my point is that just because you are in the \"not-hot\" category means you CAN\'T do something that would be consider a right, not a perk.

no positive exists without a negative

Seems we agree again. Dangit, you\'re making this difficult. :)

its perfectly acceptable to do as you please...its only \"unacceptable\" when the opinions of others say otherwise

so to refer back to the topic:

its acceptable to do, reasonable, and neither appropriate nor unappropriate

unbiased point

BUT

id prefer to not have to see something that potentiall makes me uncomfortable or gag uncontrollably

personally biased point

Understandable. Don\'t look. I will not stand in the way of your uncontrollable gagging -as a point, I will get OUT of the way- nor your right to be uncomfortable. I will, however, defend the rights of the mother that wants to do that and hope that they do it in such a way as to not make you uncomfortable.

And if she\'s a looker, I might strike up a conversation...lol

the whole thing about wether they are attractive or not is irrelevant for me. As soon as there is a baby on them the context changes completley away from a sexual one (for me anyway) so it doesnt matter to me wether its a playboy bunny feeding or ten ton tessie

It\'s a natural thing.

If I see breastfeeding in public I\'m going to feel uncomfortable (but I\'m sure the brave ol\' mother is feeling ten times as embarrassed!). If the little tacker needs some nutrients, I say go for it. I\'m open to public behavior that is a little different from the norm. So if mum\'s need to take their teats out to feed the little guy in a public place. No problem. This would NEVER happen here in Taiwan anyway. Or in Japan. They\'re rather rigid.

This whole response about if they\'re talented looking titties as apposed to visually challenging melons is silly! If the little d00d needs a nipple, give him/her one. It\'s probably better than COW\'S, GOAT\'S and SHEEP\'S milk. If I notice this while I\'m back in Oz (a Mum whipping it out for the baby) I\'ll turn the other cheek and think, \"Meh\"...

Get over it!

I\'m not bothered. I don\'t mind people doing it in public, although of course I\'d prefer it to be done discretely, for example, by facing into a corner or wearing a loose concealing top (I know I\'d want to hide the post-pregnancy bulges!). I firmly believe that the right to do something does NOT include the right to rub other people\'s noses in it if you choose to excercise it. Different people have different tolerance levels, and that should be respected too.
