When people are speaking of gloss coat are they referring to polyurethane?
I\'m looking for a good protective coat to apply before I use matt finish to protect better than just the matt for gaming purposes. But I never see a can that says gloss varnish. What is it that everyone uses?

Gloss varnish in cans is available at scale modelling, DIY and art stores. I have a can but I usually use if for bike repairs.

The gloss coat I use on minis is the brush on gloss varnish from Tamiya.
I\'ve found out that the floor wax stuff I have also creates a very strong coat. When I tested it I needed to scrape it with a knife before I managed to remove it.

I use Winsor and Newton, comes in a spary can, it\'s little expensive but worth it to protect your masterpieces.
